Dysport™
Dysport™ is a form of Botulinum toxin type A, an agent used to reduce muscle contraction.
Dysport™ was approved for use in the United States in April 2009 but has been used in other countries since 1991. It is used in the glabella to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. Results should be seen in 1-2 days. The dose of Dysport™ is not the same as or interchangeable with the dose of any other Botulinum toxin product and cannot be compared to the dose of other products that you may have used. Dysport™ is FDA approved for treating the abnormal head position and neck pain that happens with cervical dystonia (CD) in adults. |
